Over the next few weeks, you can treat yourself to adventure, or take a more relaxed approach to Fall in Michigan.
Fall has officially begun, but our WCSG’s Travelin’ Together explores several opportunities for the next few weeks to take in some special fall events.
The first is scenic chair lift rides at Crystal Mountain. Touted as a must for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and others who want a birds-eye view of the thousands of acres of woodland viewable in this unique experience. At over one-thousand feet above sea level, you’ll be able to enjoy the panoramic view of over four counties in Northern Michigan.
The chair lift rides are available for the last Saturday in September, and Saturday and Sundays in October.
For a little more adventure, ride the new dual Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide. Take the Loki Quad chairlift to the top of the mountain, then hop on board a specially-designed sled. You control the speed as you cruise down two 1,600-foot-long curved tracks.
Don’t forget the northern Michigan golf and spa packages that can round out your adventurous weekend.
