A midnight strike got underway as Kellogg employees demand better benefits.
A vote was taken Monday night and Kellogg Company employees finalized a strike.
At midnight, the strike began. That's when the contract expired between Kellogg Company and four Baker Confectionery Tobacco Workers & Grain Millers Unions.
This will impact the location in Battle Creek, as well as Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Memphis, Tennessee, and Omaha, Nebraska.
Union members say they are working to obtain fair contracts that provide a living wage and better benefits.
